| Sony Ericsson Naite Silver - an eco friendly phone |

The Sony Ericsson Naite Silver is one of the first phones to have an element of eco friendly about it.
The display screen on the phone is a 2.2 inch TFT screen which operates at a pixel size of 240 x 320 pixels. This fact coupled with the fact that the screen can display up to 256,000 colours means that images displayed on the screen are vibrant and vivid, with excellent colour representation. GPRS, EDGE, HSCSD, HSDPA, Blue tooth and USB are all included within the phone. This multitude of connection options offer high speed internet access as well as effective file sharing with other suitably attired devices and synchronisation with a PC if either required or desired. The 2.0 megapixel camera that is integrated into the phone is an ideal snap shot camera. The camera operates at a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels and as an additional benefit, also offers video call capabilities. The alternative of video capture is available on this phone and is able to record video at QVGA quality and at 15 frames per second. The phone comes with an internal memory of 100 Mb. This can be significantly increased by using the microSD slot up to 8 Gb. Entertainment is provided by the MP3/MP4 player and stereo radio, which happens to have RDS as well. The MP3 player will play the majority of audio and video file types, whilst the radio offers radio broadcasts from around the country. TrackID is provided and is useful addition to the handsets capabilities. The Sony Ericsson Naite Silver is a compact handset measuring only 108 mm x 47 mm and 12 mm thick. It is a lightweight unit considering it only weighs 84 grams. An organiser, voice memo and a CO2 calculator are included as well. The handset offers the usual elements you would expect of a phone in this price range, however the added element of eco friendliness adds a different perspective to the phone.
